"My kids had a fabulous time. This was their first time away from home and I am so thankful for the care you took of them. The toll was harder for mommy than them. They had so much fun and didnt want to leave. The spiritual impact was huge ... Thank you so much for helping them grow closer in their walk with the Lord."

Sponsor a Camper
Supporters are able to sponsor a camper with a gift of $450 to the Glisson Campership Fund. This amount covers the base cost of sending one camper to summer camp.
Gifts of any size can help sponsor a camper. Just indicate "sponsor a camper" in the memo line of your check, or in the comment section of your on-line gift, and your gift will be combined with others to help make summer camp more affordable for children and youth whose families may be experiencing financial difficulties.
Sponsor a Counselor
With a pledge of $1,600 to the Annual Fund, you will sponsor a specific counselor for this summer. This gift will underwrite the summer stipend for the counselor you will be sponsoring, and giving at this level will qualify you for membership in the Circle of 100.
In return for your sponsorship, you will receive:
- a photo of your sponsored counselor
- full biographical information
- his or her email address
- a personal note from the counselor you've sponsored
- membership in the Friends of Glisson level within the Circle of 100
- contact with your sponsored counselor, including emails, letters and care packages, will be encouraged
Gifts of any size can help to sponsor a counselor. Just indicate "sponsor a counselor" in the memo line of your check, or in the comment section of your on-line gift, and your gift will be combined with others to support our dedicated summer staff.
Giving groups, such as youth groups, Sunday school classes, alumni groups and civic organizations, are encouraged to combine resources and sponsor a counselor together as a team pledge. Individuals may also consider approaching civic groups, churches and foundations as partners in their sponsorship.
Sponsor a Living Group
A living group includes 12 campers and two counselors. You can sponsor an entire living group this summer with a pledge to the Annual Fund in the amount of $5,100. This amount covers the cost of one week of camp for all 12 campers in the Living Group, and the weekly stipend for the two counselors in that group.
Giving at this level will qualify you at the Creek Hikers level in the Circle of 100. Sponsorship includes an invitation from the Camp Director to visit camp during the summer season. During your visit, you will:
- attend chapel
- participate in a living group activity
- have lunch with a living group in the Dining Hall
- be taken on a tour of camp by a staff member
You will receive a thank-you plaque with a picture of your Glisson living group.
