The Grow Day Camps 2013 schedule can be found on the Grow page. Details for some Grow Day Camp sites have been set while others are still being finalized (see list at bottom of page).

Please read the following pre-registration info in its entirety before clicking the registration link at the bottom of this page. Also, please note that to reduce paper and mailing costs, Grow Day Camps uses Glisson's online registration system.

Info Needed To Complete Registration

Once you start registering your camper, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE PROCESS. Your camper’s information or summer registration will not be saved if you close or stop the registration process before completing it in full. The information* in the three steps below is required to ensure a successful and complete registration. 
 
*NOTE: If you are a returning 2012 day camper, your registration information should be 
complete in the form. Please verify or update any information that has changed.

STEP 1: Health History
Camper health forms are completed online.*  The following info is required to complete registration: 
  • The date of your day camper’s last tetanus booster
  • The name and phone number of your camper’s doctor and dentist
  • Your campers health insurance or Medicaid information 
*NOTE:  If registering a returning camper from summer 2012, your camper’s health history is complete. You should update changes in health, medicines and doctor's contact info. You will be required to verify accuracy of the information with a drop down "yes" and your name.
 
STEP 2: Your Church Name & Disctrict
During registration you will see a drop-down list of all North Georgia United Methodist churches.  The church names are listed by the District in which they are located.  Find out which district your church belongs to here: North GA Conference Church Locator.  If you are not a member of a United Methodist Church, you will be able to skip this step.

STEP 3: Payment Info & Deposit
The online system accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover. You will be required to make a minimum deposit in order to be registered. Grow Day Camp deposits are listed on each specific brochure, which can be found on the Grow page (opens new window). Until the deposit is made, your day camper will not hold a spot during your selected week. Full payments are due 7 days prior to the start of each day camp. 
  

Policies & Release Agreements

Cancellation Policy: The following guidelines apply to refunds:

  • Notice of cancellation must be received by our Registrar in writing (email or postal mail).
  • For cancellation more than 30 days before camp, refund will be the amount paid minus the deposit.
  • There will be no refund for cancellation within 30 days of the camp session.
  • If full payment is not received 7 days prior to your day camp starting, your reservation will be opened up to a waiting list.
  • All fees paid will be forfeited if camper does not check-in on the Monday of his/her day camp session or chooses to go home early.*
  • Full refunds will only be given when we receive a signed doctor’s note. Doctor's note must be received within 3 days of the cancellation.
*NOTE:  No refunds will be made for any reason after the start of the day camp.


Late Arrival or Early Departure Policy:   Grow Day Camp weeks begin on Monday morning and end Friday afternoon. Each day starts and ends at the time listed on the Grow Day Camp brochure. Please make every effort to avoid late arrivals and/or early departures. If a late arrival or early departure is unavoidable, please notify the Site Director.


Health Information Release, Permission to Treat, Transport and Use of Likeness:  The day camper being registered has permission to participate in all Grow Day Camp activities except as noted by me and/or an examining physician. I give permission to the physician selected by Grow Day Camp to order x-rays, routine tests, and treatment related to the health of my child for both routine health care and in emergency situations. If I cannot be reached in an emergency, I give my permission to the physician to hospitalize, secure proper treatment for, and order injection, anesthesia, or surgery for this child. I understand the information on this form will be shared on a “need to know” basis with Grow Day Camp staff. In addition, Grow Day Camp has permission to obtain a copy of my child’s health record from providers who treat my child and these providers may talk with the program’s staff about my child’s health status.

I understand that all medications for my camper will be administered by the Grow Day Camp Director or Site Coordinators, and that the Grow nurse on-call will serve in a consultative or emergency role only.

I give permission to the Grow Day Camp staff to transport my camper for emergency or programmatic purposes at the discretion of the director.

For good and valuable consideration, we hereby consent to and authorize the reproduction, publication, and use by Grow Day Camps, Camp Glisson, the United Methodist Church hosting the day camp attended, and their successors and assigns, for advertising, commercial, or any other purpose, of any photograph, picture video or likeness of my child or other family members.
