Launched in May 2020, the Stand in the Gap Relief Fund is how you can help secure the future of camp as we recover from retreats and summer sessions cancelled for the safety of guests, campers, staff, and beyond. By early May, our COVID-19 response had already guaranteed a net loss of $700,000 in fixed costs. After making the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of our summer season, our net loss has grown larger.

Thanks to a $350,000 matching gift from generous friends of Glisson, all Stand in the Gap giving will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to our $700,000 goal, doubling the impact of your gift.

As of November 23rd, we’re 99% of the way to our goal and just $10,107 from claiming 100% of the challenge matching gift! If you haven’t already, join the 1,214 friends of camp who have donated or pledged $353,685 so far (with $339,892 qualifying for the match, making our total $693,578).

Across 95 years of ministry, earlier generations have stepped up under challenging circumstances to offer us our experiences of camp – of bringing faith to life. Now is our time to Stand in the Gap to ensure camp is back as soon as possible and for generations to come.
