Braves Game Fundraiser
Braves Game Fundraiser July 18th
Glisson + Braves = Campership Funds Raised!

Fan of Glisson?
Fan of having a good time at the ballpark?
Fan of helping ensure camp fees don’t get in the way of kids having a life-changing camp ministry experience?
We’ve teamed up with the Braves to secure a group of discounted tickets so that a percentage of the proceeds will go directly toward Glisson’s Campership Fund. (And so that we can reserve a chunk of seats all at once for optimal fellowshipping.)
If that sounds like your kind of fun and/or fundraising, get your tickets using the button link below! The Braves are reserving a limited selection of tickets for Glisson supporters that can only be accessed using this link:
Event Details / Q&A
Some event details and some questions you might be wondering:
Which game is it?
Braves vs. Rangers on Saturday, July 18th at 4pm
4pm? In July? Won’t it be hot?
Yes. It will probably be hot. Because Georgia summer + no trees or bodies of water = hot. But we’ve done our research and secured a section that will be in the shade for the duration of the game (the sun will be behind/blocked by the stadium) and much of the section will also be covered from rain (higher-numbered rows have better coverage).
So I’d be surrounded by fellow Glisson folks?
You got it. A whole herd of Holy Dirt folks cheering on the local 9 (that’s baseball jargon for your hometown baseball team). Unless they’re Rangers fans…or <gasp> Mets fans. It’s okay. Everyone belongs at Glisson and/or the Glisson section of Truist Park.
Should I invite my friends and family?
Absolutely!
Could I use this as a low-key reunion of long-lost camp buddies, given that it’s a relatively centralized location, and it’s a fun event supporting a great cause, and “we’ve been meaning to get together for ages”?
You kind of answered your own question with that one.
What section are the seats in?
413 and 414. Here’s a link to the Truist Park Seating Chart (external link).
Will the whole section be a Glisson free-for-all?
We won’t be able to know that ahead of time. Depending on the number of tickets sold, there could be other individuals in the section, too…so you’ll want to treat your ticket just like a normal ticket that allows you to sit in a specific seat.
What if I want to sit near some Glisson friends in particular?
Great idea! Either A) have one person buy them all at once and have everyone pay that person back or B) hop on the phone and synchronize your purchase times and seat locations.
How much are tickets?
$45 each (includes taxes, fees, and the donation percentage).
What percentage of the ticket cost gets donated to Glisson?
About 20%.
What if I can’t go, or I’m…just not interested? Can I still support the Campership Fund?
Love this question. Most definitely! The Glisson donor portal is open online anytime.
