100 YEARS OF GLISSON
Did you know that 2025 will mark 100 years of Glisson?
That’s a lot of campouts and creek hikes!
It’s also countless stories of belonging, discovery, transformation, and calling for hundreds of thousands of children, youth, and adults across a century of camp ministry.
That’s a lot to celebrate! So much so that we’re going to spread it out over a year-long lineup of events (see below). We’ll also be collecting and sharing photos and stories (see below again).
By the time it’s all said and celebrated, we hope to have properly recognized the contributions of generations of Glisson supporters and staff that have provided life-changing experiences of Christian community in support of our shared mission: To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

100th Anniversary Events
Come celebrate 100 years of Glisson in-person! These on-site 100th Anniversary Events are designed for individuals and families to register and attend for a one-day experience (Saturday) or for an add-on overnight experience (Fri-Sat). It’s the perfect reason to “finally get back to Glisson”…or to reunite with camp friends…or to worship, eat, and play together at camp as a family. While the schedule will vary slightly for each event to account for the season it’s in, the four events are designed to be as similar as possible. One notable exception is that the November event will incorporate a theme of honoring the saints that came before us to help make Glisson what it is today. Friday (optional)
- 7:00-8:00 pm Check-in
- 8:00-11:00 pm Worship, Campfire, Hangout
Saturday
- 8:30-9:00 Breakfast (if Fri overnight)
- 8:30-9:30 Check-In (if Sat-only)
- 9:30 Worship in the Chapel
- 10:30-12:00 Activity Time (choice of included activities and/or any paid add-on activities)
- 12:30-1:30 Lunch in the Dining hall + Singing on the Porch
- 2:00-3:30 Activity Time (choice of included activities and/or any paid add-on activities)
- 4:00 Closing Gathering
Event Details
Who: All ages
Registration Fee: $40 per attendee 7+ years old (covers lunch, 100th anniversary shirt, and included activities). No charge for participants ages 6 and under.
Optional Add-On Lodging: If you opt to spend the night at camp the Friday before the event, the cost is $30 per person or $300 per cabin. More Info
Optional Add-On Activities: Most activities are included in the registration fee (creek hikes, crafts, storytelling, etc). Activities that require facilitators/lifeguards can be selected as add-ons during registration for an additional fee to cover staffing. More Info

Please note that everyone attending the event needs to register – even children under the age of 7 – so that we know who all is on-site. A discount will be automatically applied during registration that will waive the $40 fee for participants 6 and under.
November Event Note: You’re invited to submit a saint to remember (Google Form) for inclusion in the moment of remembrance during the opening worship service. Please note that for file security, users must log in with a Google account. If you don’t have a Google account and/or if you experience technical difficulties, please contact us for assistance.

You can write up your story and email it to [email protected] or use our Google Form and we’ll contact you with ways to share more.
